Working Principle
The hydraulic timber grab operates on the principle of hydraulic transmission. When the motor powers the hydraulic pump, the pump converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy, which is then transmitted through piping to the hydraulic cylinders. The pistons within these cylinders expand and contract under the influence of hydraulic energy, driving the movement of the jaw plates. When the jaw plates close, they capture and secure the timber within the grab; conversely, when they open, the timber is released to the designated location.
