A truss deck crane is a kind of lifting equipment installed on the deck of a ship, a port terminal or an offshore platform, with the truss structure as the main stress component. It mainly takes the truss boom as the key component, and is composed of rods connected by nodes to form a lattice structure, which has the characteristics of light weight, high strength and high rigidity, can withstand large lifting capacity and bending moment, and adapt to the needs of heavy-duty operations. Truss deck cranes are mainly used for cargo loading and unloading, equipment lifting, engineering component installation and other operations.

1. Port logistics: at the port terminal, it is used for the loading and unloading of containers. Thanks to its truss design, it has a large lifting capacity and working radius, making it easy to lift containers from cargo ships and place them in transport vehicles or yards on the dock or, conversely, for efficient cargo transfer. It is also used for the loading and unloading of bulk cargo, such as coal, ore, etc., through different spreaders, it can quickly lift bulk cargo from the hold and transport it to the storage area or transportation equipment on the shore, so as to improve the cargo throughput capacity of the port. 

2. Ship manufacturing and maintenance: In the process of ship construction, it is used to lift various ship parts, segments and other heavy objects, and accurately lift large hull structural parts to the designated position for assembly, which helps to improve the efficiency and accuracy of ship construction. During ship maintenance, it can be used to lift equipment on the ship, replace parts and other operations, so as to facilitate the maintenance and maintenance of the ship. 

3. Offshore oil and gas development: On offshore drilling platforms, it is used for the installation and maintenance of equipment, lifting drilling equipment and production equipment to the designated position on the platform for installation, and lifting and handling heavy objects during equipment maintenance. It is also used for the lifting of materials, lifting living materials and production materials from the supply ship to the drilling platform to meet the living and production needs of the staff on the platform. 

4. Marine engineering construction: In the construction of cross-sea bridges, it can be used to lift bridge components, lift prefabricated bridge beams, piers and other components from the transport ship and accurately install them to the designated position to ensure the smooth progress of bridge construction.
