Rail-mounted Mobile Gantry Crane with Lattice Boom
The crane drives the boom to complete pitching movements through drums, steel wire ropes, and pulley blocks, realizing the
lifting and lowering of cargo; the horizontal movement of cargo is achieved through the rotation of the slewing mechanism
within a range of 0-360 degrees, and it can be used in conjunction with specialized lifting tools, such as grabs, spreaders,
and lifting beams.
To reduce the weight of the crane while completing high loads, our crane adopts a lattice-type boom, which lightens the weight
traditional box-type rigid boom crane.
When this lightweight and efficient crane is transferred from the ship to the port (from sea to land), it achieves more
convenient and flexible use, we have designed movable "feet" (equipped with rubber tires or wheels moving along tracks),
enabling it to move to land-based places such as ports and terminals, providing efficient and convenient solutions for
cargo loading and unloading in ports, terminals, and other scenarios.
Features
1. Core Transmission Principle
- Mechanical Transmission: Through the combination of steel wire ropes winding around drums and pulley blocks,
the rotational movement of the drum is converted into the pitching linear movement of the boom.
- Slewing Mechanism: Adopts gear or ring gear transmission to achieve full-circumferential (0-400°) rotation of the crane
main body, covering a wider operating range.
2. Land Adaptation Innovations
- Mobile Chassis: Rubber tires are suitable for short-distance movement on flexible road surfaces, while rail wheels are suitable
for long-distance, precise positioning on fixed tracks, enhancing site adaptability.
- Functional Extension: Expanding from cargo loading and unloading scenarios on ship decks to integrated horizontal
transportation + vertical lifting operations at inland ports, reducing cargo transfer links.
Applications
Rail-mounted Mobile Gantry Crane with Lattice boom is commonly used in heavy-duty cargo loading/unloading and
handling scenarios requiring fixed-track movements, such as ports, docks, shipyards, and large logistics warehousing centers.
It is particularly suitable for joint operations integrating ship decks and land tracks.
We can design and produce cranes according to operational scenarios and specific requirements, accept non-standard customization, and allow customers to choose the required functions.
